Youssoufa Moukoko has been linked with a move away from Borussia Dortmund, with Barcelona, Chelsea, Liverpool, and Real Madrid keen.

A report from Fichajes has claimed that Barcelona, Chelsea, Liverpool and Real Madrid are all keen on signing Youssoufa Moukoko. But they will have to pay €35-40 million in to sign the German international.

Moukoko is highly rated around Europe, and he has a big future ahead of him. He could develop into a top-class striker with coaching and experience. It will be interesting to see if his suitors are willing to pay the €35-40 million asking price for him.

The reported valuation seems quite nominal in today’s market, and the 18-year-old certainly has the potential to justify the investment in the long run. It will be interesting to see how the situation develops over the next few months.

Chelsea and Barcelona could certainly use more depth in the attack. The Blues signed Nicolas Jackson to solve their goalscoring problems. But the former Villarreal attacker needs more support in the attack. Barcelona are overly reliant on Robert Lewandowski, and they need another reliable goalscorer.

As far as Liverpool are concerned, they are already well-stocked in the attacking department. Darwin Nunez, Diogo Jota, and Cody Gakpo are all capable of playing in that position. So, Moukoko is unlikely to get ample game time if he moves to Anfield in the coming months.

Meanwhile, Real Madrid will be hoping to sign a top-class striker as the long-term replacement for Karim Benzema. While the 18-year-old German international is a quality young player, he might not be ready to lead the line at a club like Real Madrid just yet.

He could be a useful long-term acquisition for them, and it remains to be seen whether the Spanish giants decide to make a move for him. The 18-year-old has struggled for regular game time at Borussia Dortmund this season, and he might be keen on an exit in January. It will be interesting to see if the Bundesliga club are willing to hold onto him until the end of the season.
