English Premier League Gameweek 10 : Best Bets for top matches feat. Manchester United, Chelsea, Arsenal and Liverpool

The Hard Tackle takes a look at the best betting markets for the top fixtures ahead of the tenth game-week of the Premier League.

The tenth game-week of the Premier League features Chelsea’s trip to Southampton as the highlight of the weekend but there are many intriguing match-ups to look ahead for the viewers. Arsenal travel to Sunderland in an attempt to continue their run of good form while Manchester United host Burnley as they aim to carry their momentum from mid-week’s Manchester derby triumph into the league.

Elsewhere, Liverpool travel to face Palace and former striker Benteke while Manchester City look to arrest their winless run as they travel to face Tony Pulis’ West Brom. West Ham would be buoyed by the midweek win over Chelsea and would look to carry the momentum into the league as they match up against an in-form Everton side.

The Hard Tackle takes a look at the potentially profitable markets available in the top matches:

Favourable Bets result for Gameweek 9 : 6/10

Average odds : 1.8425 (Result: +1 unit; considering all favourable bets had the same stake)

The Hard Tackle aggregate : 43/82 , 1 full return

1. Sunderland vs Arsenal

Two teams at opposite ends of the league table and the form table, the fixture looks done and dusted. In fact, this could turn into a bit of an embarrassment for Moyes’ side and a disastrous result here could just be the final straw that leads to the former Manchester United manager’s sack.

Arsenal don’t seem to be in the mood for any more favours after the Middlesbrough draw and looks set to pile on the misery for Moyes.

Favourable Bets :

1. Arsenal Asian Handicap -1.0,1.5 @1.925

2. Sunderland Cards Asian Handicap -0.5 @2

3. Arsenal Clean Sheet – YES @2.10

Underdog Bets :

1. Theo Walcott to score 2 or more @7.00

2. Alexis Sanchez to score 2 or more @5.50

2. Manchester United vs Burnley

Manchester United received a huge morale boost during the mid-week as they beat their crosstown rivals in the EFL Cup at Old Trafford. The odds are heavily stacked against Burnley with anticipation of a United backlash in response to the 4-0 loss to Chelsea last weekend.

Burnley, though, themselves earned a hard-earned victory over Everton last weekend and would look to upset the odds again. But, the scenario of an upset looks highly unlikely, although, one would be recommended to stay away from placing stakes on a United win or Handicap, solely based on the inconsistency in the Red Devils’ form.

Favourable Bets :

1. Manchester United Over 0.5 Cards @ 1.44

Underdog Bets :

1. Zlatan to score 2 or more @ 4.00

3. Tottenham vs Leicester City

Pochettino fielded, nearly, a second string side that lost 2-1 to Liverpool during the mid-week and the Londoners are unlikely to lose much confidence as they seem to be on a roll. The Foxes are yet to get going but have shown glimpses of return to form.

The encounter could turn into a goalscoring bloodbath with Tottenham having the slight edge based on current form. Another driving force for Tottenham would be to avenge previous season’s title loss to Leicester, which became a two-horse race at the end between the two teams.

Favourable Bets :

1. Leicester Corners Handicap + 2.5 @ 2

Underdog Bets :

1. Draw Full Time @ 4.20

4. West Bromwich Albion vs Manchester City

Tony Pulis’ side failed to stop the Liverpool side last weekend but is likely to offer more resistance to a Manchester City side which come into the game winless in six games, the longest run in Pep’s managerial career.

And the signs don’t look too positive right now for Citizens with Guardiola unimpressed with star striker Sergio Aguero while others have failed to make up for the Argentinian.

Favourable Bets :

1. WBA Asian Handicap +1.0, 1.5 @1.850

2. Over 3.5 Cards @ 1.75

Underdog Bets :

1. Rondon to score anytime @ 4.00

5. Crystal Palace vs Liverpool

Palace have troubled Liverpool in the past and could do the same, although, based on current form, Liverpool look clear favourites for the clash.

The Reds, though, have a tendency to switch off against the comparitively weaker opponents, something which Palace could pounce upon, if it happens on Saturday.

Favourable Bets :

1. Over 3.5 Cards @1.61

Underdog Bets :

1. Benteke to score anytime @ 3.00

6. Southampton vs Chelsea

The Hard Tackle’s game of the week for Matchday 10 of the English Premier League offers an intriguing matchup. A Chelsea side that stomped United 4-0 last weekend but lost to West Ham during the mid-week go up against a Southampton side that are undefeated in five Premier League games and prevailed over Sunderland during the mid-week.

Southampton earned a hard-fought 1-1 draw at Etihad over the weekend and seem to have quickly found their feet under the new manager, Claude Puel. Another fixture where the full-time result is hard to predict, which is why there are no stakes on the Full Time result, directly or otherwise.

Favourable Bets :

1. Chelsea Over 1.5 Cards @ 1.66

2. Both Teams To Score – YES @ 1.75

Underdog Bets :

1. Redmond to score anytime @ 3.50
