Manchester City are ready to outmanoeuvre Real Madrid in the race for the Paris Saint-Germain star Kylian Mbappe.

According to a report by DefensaCentral, Manchester City are ready to battle it out with Real Madrid for the signatures of Kylian Mbappe. The English giants are willing to do everything in their power to land the 25-year-old at the club. The French international has decided to part ways with Paris Saint-Germain at the end of the season and he is yet to decide on his future.

Mbappe has informed people at PSG that he will not be penning down a new deal with them. While the French club wanted to keep him in their ranks for as long as possible, they have accepted the fact that the World Cup winner will move on to another club in the summer.

He has been linked with a move to Real Madrid for years now. Mbappe was close to joining Los Blancos in the summer of 2022 as a free agent but he ended up staying at PSG. Despite facing disappointment, the Spanish club didn’t close the door on him, their interest remained intact and they are now back in the race for his signatures.

City looking to outbid Real Madrid

While reports from across Europe claim that Mbappe is all set to join Real Madrid, Manchester City are willing to give it their all to land the 25-year-old at the club. Pep Guardiola wants the French forward in his ranks as he wishes to continue dominating Europe with the English club.

Recent reports have revealed that representatives of the French international were recently in contact with people of both the European clubs as he looks to make a decision regarding his future

They are ready to out-bit Real Madrid in the race to his signatures. City are ready to offer him more wages than the Spanish club and are willing to make him the highest-paid player in the squad which means he will be earning more than Erling Haaland.

They are also willing to give him a hefty signing bonus. The bonus will be as big as the loyalty bonus that Mbappe would have received had he stayed at the French club but that’s no longer a possibility. While City are trying their best, playing for the Los Blancos is the PSG forward’s dream, as a result, it will be interesting to see where he ends up playing his football next season.
