Manchester United are all set to axe Dutch winger Memphis Depay in a summer clear-out, after his disastrous debut season at the club.

Depay, who transferred to Manchester United from Eredivisie club PSV Eindhoven for a transfer fee of £25 million, has had a poor season at the Old Trafford, managing to score only five goals in 37 appearances. The Manchester United hierarchy is said to be running out of patience with the Dutchman, according to The Sun.

Among the others who also face the axe at the Old Trafford, are Morgan Schneiderlin and Argentine goalkeeper Sergio Romero.

Gotze wants a reunion with Klopp, fear Bayern

With just over 12 months left on Mario Gotze’s contract, Bayern Munich are afraid that the German World Cup winner is eager to reunite with his former boss Jurgen Klopp at Liverpool.

The 23-year-old has fallen out with his current manager Pep Guardiola and is not too eager to stay at the club, in spite of the fact that the Spaniard leaves for Manchester City at the of the 2016/17 season. He has made only 12 appearances so far this season.

According to the Daily Mirror, the bosses at Bayern Munich fear that Gotze is not too eager to pen down a new contract, and will try to use the short duration left on his deal to get a transfer.

PSG join Barcelona, Bayern Munich in hunt for Bellerin

Ligue 1 champions PSG have become the latest team trying to sign the right full-back, according to French outlet Le10 Sport.

Bellerin has impressed with his performances this season, becoming the regular right-back at Arsenal. The 21-year-old has also attracted interest from FC Barcelona, where he played in the youth academy till 2011. Even Bayern Munich are looking for a long term replacement for captain Philipp Lahm, and are said to be consideringt Bellerin as one of their options.

Hummels rubbishes Chelsea rumours

Borussia Dortmund centre-back Mats Hummels, who has been linked with a move away from the Ruhr Valley, has rubbished the rumours linking him with 2015/16 Premier League champions Chelsea.

Chelsea were tipped to make a move for the Dortmund captain in a bid to find a replacement for their own outward-bound captain John Terry, as Hummels has a little more than a year left on his contract and could be a cheap acquisition. However Hummels completely dismissed these rumours, saying that Chelsea cannot offer him Champions League football next season.

“Go to Chelsea? Borussia Dortmund play Champions League next season,” he was quoted as saying by  Das Aktuelle Sport Studio. “Chelsea don’t. That’s an argument to stay.”

Arsenal eyeing summer swoop for Ajax youngster

The Gunners have long been in need of another striker in their squad, and Arsene Wenger is said to have been impressed by the performance of young Ajax frontman Arkadiusz Milik, according to Futbol News [via Daily Cannon].

Milik had impressed in his first season at Ajax (on loan from Bayer Leverkusen) when he scored 11 goals. His performance was impressive enough to make manager Frank de Boer sign him up on a permanent deal for £2.8 million. As if buoyed up by this deal, Milik has performed even better this season, netting 16 times so far in the Eredivisie.

Arsenal are in dire need of a second striker, with Olivier Giroud being the only out-and-out striker on their roster at the moment. However, Wenger may have to shell out some money for the 22-year-old Polish striker, as the likes of Barcelona and Liverpool are also said to be interested in signing Milik.
