Chelsea are off to a fine start in the Premier League this season as they cruised to a 3-0 win over Huddersfield Town at the John Smith’s Stadium on Saturday.

The Blues were in control of the game from start to finish, growing into the game with each passing minute. Maurizio Sarri’s men had to bide their time, but their patience was rewarded with the opening goal by N’Golo Kante, before Jorginho doubled the lead from the penalty spot to score his first goal for Chelsea.

Huddersfield did come close when Steve Mounie headed against the upright. But, the hosts’ hopes were dashed when Pedro rounded off the win from close range. The spotlight though, fell on Jorginho, with fans also pointing towards a budding partnership between him and Kante in the Chelsea midfield.

But, a lot of the adulation went towards Maurizio Sarri, whose tenure started with a bang.
