Mino Raiola, the agent of Juventus ace Paul Pogba, has reportedly stated that a move to Manchester United would be a ‘fascinating option’ for the player. Pogba left the Red Devils in 2012, but has now emerged as a top transfer target for them.

According to the Daily Star, Pogba is on the wishlist of many of Europe’s best clubs and is tipped to leave the Old Lady this summer. The Frenchman’s agent has further gone on to say that he has achieved all he can at the Serie A outfit and will be looking to take a step further to elevate his blossoming career.

Raiola stated in an interview (via Goal.com):

“Paul has to grow. He’s [Pogba] at Juve now, so any transfer must be run past Juventus.”

“He likes Zinedine Zidane. So, Real Madrid is fascinating as are Barcelona, Manchester United, Paris Saint-Germain, Manchester City, Chelsea and also Juve. Would I listen to offers from Milan and Inter for Pogba? Why not? My interest is to represent my players as well as possible, so I don’t rule anything out.”

“I have to do right by my players.”

In 35 Serie A appearances this past season, the Frenchman has tallied 8 goals and a staggering 12 assists – an impressive feat for a midfielder. According to WhoScored, Pogba averaged 3.5 shots and completed 2.9 take-ons per game. He is also known to fancy an attempt from outside the 18-yard-area, and more often than not, his deliveries wreak havoc in the opposition area.

For a Manchester United team that lacked flair and creativity in the middle of the park, Pogba could well be the man to address the predicament. It’s not all backward and sideways passing for the dynamic midfielder as he accounted for the second most through balls (22) in the 2015/16 Serie A campaign – an accolade that could only be bettered by Miralem Pjanic (25).

His dribbling displays are a sight to behold, as he often leaves defenders for dead with his cheeky footwork. Known to beat players to the ball, Pogba is as tough as they come, and given the physical nature of the Premier League, the 23-year-old could be a perfect fit. Also, with the presence of fellow countryman Anthony Martial at Old Trafford, Pogba could let bygones be bygones and make a memorable return to the place he once called home.
