Cristiano Ronaldo leads Real Madrid to a comfortable 3-0 win over Real Sociedad [Video]

Cristiano Ronaldo was the star as Real Madrid returned to winning ways by claiming only their second win in five matches, as they beat Real Sociedad 3-0 at the Santiago Bernabeu on Sunday to create a four-point gap on top of the table.

Victory, though, didn’t come easy for Los Blancos as chances came few and far between in the early stages of the match, before Cristiano Ronaldo put Mateo Kovacic clean through on goal who calmly finished past Rulli.

The second half saw a much improved Real Madrid side take the field, and Cristiano Ronaldo soon doubled the lead after he collected Mateo Kovacic’s through ball to delightfully chip the Real Sociedad goalkeeper in the 51st minute.

Alvaro Morata then completed the comfortable win as he headed from Lucas Vazquez’s pinpoint cross to extend their lead at the top of the La Liga table.
