Manchester United Start Against Spurs; Liverpool Start Away At Stoke – EPL Fixtures Announced

The Premier League fixtures for the 2015-16 season were announced on Wednesday.

Chelsea will open their Premier League title defence against Swansea in what could be a tricky fixture. Let’s not forget, the Swans earned a sweet victory on the opening day of last season against Manchester United at Old Trafford.

Manchester Uniteda s first game will be at Old Trafford, with Mauricio Pochettino’s side the visitors. If United have their way, Harry Kane could well be playing his first game for his new side against Spurs? Liverpool meanwhile will start their campaign away at Stoke City, where they ended last season with an embarrassing 6-1 defeat. The Reds have a tough opening period with visits to Arsenal and Manchester United the next away fixtures for the side. Former defender Jamie Carragher joked about the tough opening period for Liverpool as he tweeted:

Newly promoted Bournemoutha s first game comes against Aston Villa at home while Arsenal will play West Ham in the opening weekend. Manchester City are at West Brom on the opening weekend.
