Manchester City Preparing ai??i??80m Offer For Paul Pogba: Reports

Manchester City are preparing a sensational a 80m offer to outbid Chelsea FC, PSG, Real Madrid, and FC Barcelona to sign Juventus’ Paul Pogba according to Sky Sports.

Despite Paul Pogba not qualified as a home-grown player having failed to reach the required quota of appearances while at Manchester United, Manchester City are preparing a massive bid to beat top clubs across Europe, including Chelsea FC, FC Barcelona, PSG, and Real Madrid who are all thought to be keeping tabs on the player.

Pogba spent two seasons at Old Trafford from July 2010 to 2012 where he struggled to make an impact, being given just a handful of substitute appearances for the first team before leaving for Italy and joining Juventus on minimum compensation.

Manchester City need home-grown talent to fill their Champions League quota – defined as anyone who has trained at an English club for three years between the age of 15 and 21 – which has led to the club chasing Liverpool FC winger Raheem Sterling.

Sterling, who is also chased by Real Madrid, Chelsea FC, Manchester United, and Arsenal FC was subject of a 30 million pound bid by Manchester City which was swiftly rejected by Liverpool FC, as reported earlier, today. Liverpool FC are thought to be holding out for around 50 million pound.

The news of Manchester Citya s approach for the Liverpool FC winger and Juventus midfield mastro comes after their chairman Khaldoon Al Mubarak promised a high-qualitya signings this summer.

Sky Italia’s Ghilda Pensante says Juventus will only consider “extraordinary” offers for Paul Pogba and the club would accept nothing less than 80m euro (A?58m) for the player.

Chairman Khaldoon Al Mubarak is determined to bring back the title to Manchester City following a disappointing 2014-15 season, was quoted saying:

a We want a squad that is able and has the capability and quality to win the Premier League, compete and win the Champions League, compete and be able to go all the way in two cup competitions in England,a he said.

a I think you will see some changes. You will see some players who have served us well and maybe it is time for them to move to their next challenge, and you will see us in the market bringing high-quality individuals that fit within what we are aspiring to coming in this summer.

.

a I can assure you the squad will be stronger, the team will be more competitive. I am both confident and excited about what is coming next year.a

With approach already made for Sterling and with news that Manchester City are preparing a bumper offer for Paul Pogba, Chelsea FC, Manchester United both will be looking to join the battle given both have the funds to compete for the player, especially Manchester United.
