Jose Mourinho And Arsene Wenger Cry Foul Over Man City’s 25m Wilfried Bony Signing

Both, Chelsea boss Jose Mourinho and Arsenal boss Arsene Wenger have cried foul over Manchester City’s 25million pound Wilfried Bony signing, and believe that rules were bent for Manchester City. The Sky Blues, completed a whopping A?25m transfer of Bony, from Swansea City this week. Meanwhile, Chelsea boss Jose Mourinho, blatantly fired on Man City’s new recruit and said that rules are being bent for Man City.

a If they have the money and can spend it and have no problems with Financial Fair Play, well done.’ said Jose Mourinho

a The rules are different for City, you know what I mean. But they can only play with 11, unless the rules for them are different and they can play with 12.

a They have a fantastic squad, and one more top player for that squad: Aguero, Jovetic, Bony and Dzeko are fantastic. Well done.a

a Well done, good player, good striker.

Wilfried Bony’s has been added to a 90million pound attacking force of Sergio Aguero, Stevan Jovetic and Edin Dzeko. The former Swansea striker was the highest goalscorer for the year 2014, with 20 goals. Bony’s signing has added dept in Manchester City’s attack and the imposing Ivorian is expected to partner Sergio Aguero, in a two man strikeforce.

However, like Jose Mourinho, Arsene Wenger was far from impressed with Man City’s financial ability. Asked if signing Bony was ethical, the Arsenal manager said: a I hope so.

a They must have the availability and the Financial Fair Play allows them to do it. I dona t know. It was a surprise, yes. They have huge financial potential now for a lot of years and we know that.

a It is part of our game and we have to deal with it.

a Ita s not down to me to control it. There are official people to do that. I dona t know enough about what they do. Ita s not my job as well to judge that.a

Wenger, went one step ahead of Jose Mourinho and also raised doubts over the acquisition of Frank Lampard by Man City. The Arsenal boss, expressed that he was ‘surprised’ by the claims of officials.

a Ia m surprised the way it happened because it was told that he first signed for New York and after he didna t. Ita s strange.a

However, Manchester City boss, Manuel Pellegrini, maintained a defensive stance and did not comment on Jose Mourinho’s claims.

a I didna t hear what he said and ita s not important for me,a said the City boss.

a But I dona t think this club or this team is just money.

a Every team needs good players if they want to win important things.

a But after that, the way we play is very important.a
