Chelsea FC manager Jose Mourinho has said that Manuel Pellegrini will have to deal with the expectations of title after spending heavily this summer.
Chelsea host Manchester City in one of the biggest game of the season tonight. Both these clubs have changed their managers from last season and have made some fine additions to their squads. Although Arsenal and Liverpool might be leading the table at the moment, Chelsea and ManchesterAi?? City were marked as the two favourites to win the title this season, so the outcome of this match might have a big impact on the fortunes of both these clubs.
Manchester City spent nearly A?90m in the last transfer window and Jose Mourinho believes that the pressure will be on them to deliver. He compared the current expectations from City ai???s squad to what his Chelsea side faced in the 2004-2005 season.

“Pellegrini can win the title. And he has the most important thing which is an unbelievable squad of players.
“They are a very good team. They have two very good teams – one playing, and another one on the bench and in the stands.

Jose Mourinho and Manuel Pellegrini also have a bit of history among themselves. The Portuguese manager replaced Pellegrini at Real Madrid, when he was removed from the job. But soon after taking over Mourinho questioned Pellegriniai??i??s decision to join Malaga. But Mourinho refused to add fuel to the spark and said it was about his personal choice.
“I said I wouldn’t go to Malaga because I wouldn’t.
“I’m in a situation where I can choose. Some people can’t choose. If in this moment I decide to stop football, I stop football. It’s just that. But no offence to him, or to Malaga.” ai??i?? Mourinho added.
The Chelsea manager was faced question regarding the difference in both the teamai??i??s strike forces. While the Chelsea strikers have struggled for goals this season, despite the arrival of Samuel Etoai??i??o this summer, Manchester Cityai??i??s Sergio Aguero and Negredo have found the back of the net with relative ease. But Mourinho said that he isnai??i??t envious of Manchester Cityai??i??s riches upfront and has lauded his forwards for working hard and helping out his side.
“I’m not envious of people. I’m not an envious person.
“I’m happy with all of them, all of the strikers. They were not scoring goals but they were working really hard. They were doing a good job for the team and their team-mates. There are different ways to contribute sometimes.” ai??i?? he said.
Although the title race is still in its infancy, the result of this fixture could have massive effect at the end of the season. It is promising to be an open title race this season and Arsenal and Liverpoolai??i??s win this weekend will put extra pressure on both these sides to perform.
