Barcelona, Arsenal, and Manchester United are reportedly interested in 20-year-old Bayern Munich whizkid Jamal Musiala, a target for Real Madrid.

According to a report by 90min, Jamal Musiala is a target for practically every high-profile club in Europe. Barcelona, Arsenal, and Manchester United are ready to lock horns with Real Madrid for the 20-year-old. Meanwhile, the Bayern Munich whizkid is also a target for Chelsea, Liverpool, and Manchester City.

Jamal Musiala has established himself as one of the best young prospects in the Bundesliga since breaking into the Bayern Munich first-team squad. The German international is a former trainee at Chelsea and Southampton. Meanwhile, he represented England in age-group football on the international stage before choosing to turn out for Germany.

The 20-year-old has established himself as a pivotal figure for his club and country in the last two seasons. Musiala has turned out eight times this term, chipping in with one goal and two assists. Meanwhile, recent reports have claimed (90min corroborates the same) that contract talks between Bayern Munich and the youngster have not progressed well.

Such a situation has captured the attention of several high-profile clubs in Europe, including Real Madrid. In addition, Chelsea, Liverpool, and Manchester City are also keen. But the Merengues now face stiff competition from Barcelona, Arsenal, and Manchester United in the race to sign the youngster.

Barcelona and Real Madrid regularly battle each other for the most promising young prospects in the world. They have traded blows for Vinicius Junior, Endrick, and Pablo Torre, among others in the last few years. So, it is hardly surprising that Musiala is a common target for both La Liga heavyweights.

As for Arsenal and Manchester United, it is unclear how Musiala will fit into the scheme of things at either club despite his undoubted talent. Nonetheless, the two Premier League giants, apart from Chelsea, Manchester City, and Liverpool, have sounded out his entourage and want to remain informed on his situation.

So, Bayern Munich must ramp up talks over a new contract with Musiala to secure his future. Failure to do that will set the vultures free, with Barcelona, Real Madrid, Arsenal, Chelsea, Liverpool, Manchester United, and Manchester City keen on signing the 20-year-old prospect.
