Liverpool’s struggles in the Premier League continued on Sunday as Tottenham enjoyed an emphatic 4-1 win over the Reds.

Two errors by Dejan Lovren within the first 15 minutes proved costly as Spurs grabbed a foothold in the game through Harry Kane and Son Heung-Min. Mohamed Salah pulled one back midway through the first half, but that only proved to be a consolation for the visitors.

Tottenham restored their two-goal lead through Dele Alli, moments before half-time, and the win was rounded off before the hour mark as Kane grabbed his second in the game. The England striker was hailed for his display on Sunday as he went into the lead in the race to win the Golden Boot.

Dejan Lovren was the villain for the Liverpool fans after a horrific display that saw him being taken off in the first-half.

Jurgen Klopp wasn’t a popular man either as his side’s travails continued in the Premier League with another poor showing.
