Manchester United returned to winning ways on Sunday, as they ran out 3-0 winners over relegation-batting Sunderland at the Stadium of Light.

Manchester United climbed to fifth in the Premier League table while bottom club Sunderland suffered a setback in their bid to survive the threat of relegation as Jose Mourinho’s men returned continued their unbeaten run with a 3-0 win over the Black Cats.

Zlatan Ibrahimovic broke the deadlock at the half-hour mark to send Manchester United with the lead at half-time. Henrikh Mkhitaryan then doubled the advantage just a minute into the second half before Marcus Rashford put the tie to bed in the dying stages of the match.
