The footballing world will not have to wait too long to get another taste of the Manchester derby as City and United have drawn each other in the Round of 16 of the League Cup. The match will take place at Old Trafford on the 25th of October.

October was always going to be a difficult month for Manchester United as they face tough away games against Liverpool and Chelsea in the Premier League. Things have just become much more complicated, as Man City lie in wait for them in the League Cup after those two crucial league games — all in a period of seven days.

Despite the tough fixtures, Manchester United fans were quick to cry vengeance as the Red Devils hope to regain their prestige after losing 2-1 to their bitter rivals recently. This would be the perfect chance for Jose Mourinho to redeem himself against Pep Guardiola.
