An imperious Manchester United side made it two wins out of two in the Champions League, beating CSKA Moscow 4-1 at the VEB Arena on Wednesday.

Manchester United, who had not won a single Champions League away game since November 2013, made short work of their Russian opponents as they coasted to a 4-1 win in Moscow on Wednesday.

In particular, Anthony Martial and Romelu Lukaku were delightful in their link up. Martial assisted each of Lukaku’s goals, who took his tally to 10 in nine for the Red Devils. The Frenchman grabbed a goal for himself in the 18th minute, before playing a key role in Henrikh Mkhitaryan’s goal in the second half.

Meanwhile, David De Gea was denied a well deserved clean sheet as Konstantin Kuchaev grabbed a late consolation goal. In their defeat on Wednesday, CSKA Moscow conceded four goals at home for the first time ever, and Jose Mourinho was lauded for his side’s emphatic performance.

Meanwhile, Lukaku was the toast of the Manchester United supporters as he completed 10 goals from the club in just his ninth competitive appearance.

David De Gea had the fans singing his praises as well as he made two stupendous saves in the first half.

The hero on the night, though, was Martial, who played a part in each of the goals that Manchester United scored.
