Alvaro Morata scored on his return to action as Chelsea earned a comfortable 2-0 win over Brighton & Hove Albion at Stamford Bridge on Tuesday.

Antonio Conte seems to have found a new winning formula, with a 3-5-2 formation with Eden Hazard as the other striker. Alvaro Morata was introduced back into the lineup after his return from injury and the Spaniard did not take any prisoners, scoring on his return to action.

Marcos Alonso scored to give Chelsea a comfortable cushion as the Blues kept the Brighton attackers at bay successfully. Fans hailed the summer signing, with the Spaniard taking his tally to 10 in the Premier League, while his telepathy with compatriot Azpilicueta a visible highlight.

Marcos Alonso was also the subject of appreciation, with another timely goal for Chelsea.
