A Kevin De Bruyne masterclass condemned Arsenal to an embarrassing 3-0 defeat at the hands of Manchester City at home on Sunday evening.

Manchester City talisman Kevin De Bruyne took less than two minutes to begin the ordeal for Arsenal. An assist to Raheem Sterling was sandwiched between two top class goals and it was only a wondrous effort by Bernd Leno that denied him a well deserved hat-trick.

As far as Arsenal’s performance is concerned, it was nothing short of shameful, with the Gunners lacking any sort of intent or cohesion. And, Arsenal fans sympathized with caretaker manager Freddie Ljungberg despite the result, pinning the blame on the team instead.

Defence was once again subjected to intense scrutiny by Arsenal fans, who chastised other players as well.

Another player who got on the wrong end of Arsenal fans’ ire was Mesut Ozil, who endured a tough evening against Manchester City.
