On Monday, Roy Hodgson announced that he would be stepping down as head coach of the England national side. A disappointing run at the Euros saw the Three Lions being eliminated at the hands of minnows Iceland.

Now with Hodgson gone, the English FA will begin proceedings to find an able replacement. Gareth Southgate, Glenn Hoddle, Alan Pardew and Eddie Howe are few managers tipped to be in line for the job. However, fans on Twitter are calling out to the FA to make Arsenal boss Arsene Wenger the heir to Hodgson.
