England Confirmed Lineup: Rooney starts alongside Kane again as Hodgson names unchanged side for Wales clash

The lineup for England’s Euro 2016 Group B match against Wales has been confirmed and manager Roy Hodgson has opted not to make any changes from the opening game.

 

Surprisingly, the England defence has been left unaltered by Hodgson despite the fact that he has the likes of John Stones in his squad.

Once again we are set to see Manchester United’s Wayne Rooney paired up alongside Tottenham Hotspur’s Harry Kane up front. However, Rooney has shown the tendency to drop into midfield to change the formation from a traditional 4-4-2 to a 4-3-3, which gives the English more bodies in the middle of the park.

Here is England’s confirmed lineup for their second Group B game against Wales:
