Former Manchester United striker Radamel Falcao has completed his move to Chelsea FC on a season-long loan deal from AS Monaco with reports suggesting the player taking upto 50% wage cut to join the London side.
Chelsea FC have finally made the official announcement of Radamel Falcao joining the club. This will be Falcaoa s second loan spell in England after spending last season at Manchester United where the player struggled to find any sort of form.
The statement on Chelsea’s official website read:

Falcao scored just four goals in 29 appearances last season for Manchester United, as he struggled to regain form after the horrific injury that had ruled him out of the 2014 World Cup.
Lack of goals meant that Manchester United passed on the opportunity to sign the former Atletico Madrid forward on a permanent deal for A?43.2m.
Chelsea FC are thought to be paying A?4.2a Smillion with an option to sign the striker on a permanent A?35a Smillion deal, and expect that he will join up with the squad in the United States as per the reliable newspaper The Times.
Falcao, desperate to repay the faith shown in him by Jose Mourinho, who issued a statement saying that he was confident of getting the best out of the player, has taken a massive wage cut to join Chelsea FC as per the report.
The report says:
Radamel Falcao has taken a substantial cut to his A?265,000-a-week wages to join Chelsea on loan from Monaco, with several young players in line to be loaned to the French club as part of the deal.
Falcao is thought to be earning betweenA?130,000 and A?180,000 a week at Chelsea.

While Falcao is more likely to secure some silverware with his move to Stamford Bridge, the former Manchester United striker will be a bit-part player rather than a starter for the champions, according to Jamie Redknapp.
