Memphis Depay. Expect to hear his name a lot over the next few months. The young Dutchman is a very serious target of Manchester United and Liverpool. Over the last few days, there has been a lot of talk over where the player will be moving in the summer.
PSV Eindhoven technical director Marcel Brands confirmed earlier this week that United hada called about Depaya
“There are three big clubs that have approached us over Memphis Depay now, clubs that are concrete,a he told Fox Sports. a Therea s PSG who are still interested, we have received a phone call from Manchester United, although no formal talks have taken place for now.a
The Mirror reported that the player flew to England on Thursday with his representatives and though he landed at Manchester airport, it was Ian Ayre – Liverpool’s CEO – who he and his representatives met with at a nearby hotel. The paper also reported that Liverpool so far,is the only club that has been granted permission to speak with the player about a move.
But there seems to be a slight twist in the story, or at least another paragraph added as Carl Thomas, an agent with the SEG Group who represent Depay, tweeted a picture of United’s Carrington training complex with the caption “Nice day in Manchester”.

When it comes to football and transfer rumors, everything is read between the lines and there is enough subtext in this one picture and tweet suggesting Depay could move to the club managed by the man who took him for the World Cup. The 25million-rated striker, who has 20 goals and 3 assists in the league this season, is expected to command wages of around A?130,000-a-week.
