Chelsea FC Loan Move For Falcao In Doubt With Monaco Looking To Sell: Reports

Radamel Falcao’s move to Chelsea FC is in doubt with Monaco looking to sell, rather than loan the player according to reports in French media outlet RMC.

Chelsea FC manager Jose Mourinho had made no secrets of his desire to sign Radamel Falcao as the club look to replace the departing Didier Drogba with the Colombian who flopped on his loan move to Manchester United.

Reports in Sunday Times stated that Chelsea FC were set to sign the Colombian forward later this week with the player agreeing personal terms as clubs get closer to an agreement for the player.

.

However, the deal may have not hit a snag as per RMC who say that Monaco want to sell Falcao, who earns some a 14 million a year, with Chelsea FC looking only for a loan deal for this year with the player having a shaky injury record as well as coming off a season in which he struggled in the Premier League.

Jose Mourinho has vowed to bring the best out of the striker, saying earlier this week: a It really hurts me that people in England believe that Falcao is the guy they saw at Manchester United.a

a Hea s a player I know, one that Ia ve followed since Atletico Madrid and if I can help Falcao arrive at his level I will do it.a

Falcao still has three years left on the deal he signed when he moved to Monaco from Atletico Madrid in an estimated a 60 million move in 2013.

Much like his time at Manchester United when he scored only four times in 29 games, the Colombian hasn’t exactly set the world on fire in Copa America, with Colombia losing 1-0 to Ecuador in the opening fixture as Falcao struggled to make any impact on the game.

Clearly, Chelsea FC are looking for a loan move to ensure that they do not take any unnecessary risk with Monaco valuing the player around a 50 million given the player’s stint with Manchester United failing to dispel doubts over his form.
