Chelsea FC Team News – Loic Remy Set To Start In Crunch Tie With Manchester United

Top goalscorer Diego Costa could make his Chelsea return next week when the Blues travel to Arsenal Manager Jose Mourinho confirmed before their match against United.

The Spaniard has been out of action since the start of the month when he lasted just 12 minutes in the 2-1 win over Stoke at Stamford Bridge.

It was initially feared that Costa wouldn’t return until the game against Crystal Palace on May 3rd, however the striker is now expected to return much earlier and according to Jose Mourinho could be in contention of facing the Gunners at Emirates.

Mourinho said on Costa,”He is progressing very well. He has a chance for next weekend. Our target was for Diego to play our last four matches and Arsenal is the sixth from the end, so if he doesn’t play it’s not a problem but things are going so well he has a chance.”

“He’s training and he starts with the rest of the squad next week.”

Mourinho says that they are still waiting on assessment of Loic Remy’s injury,Remy who picked up an minor muscle injury has a 50% chance of playing on Saturday night.

If the French international doesn’t make it, Didier Drogba will lead the line for the Blues.

There are no further injury worries for Chelsea in the clash against United, who Mourinho believes are fighting for the title – and says that they have an amazing squad.
