The Frenchman has been linked with a move to London rivals West Ham and Crystal Palace this summer transfer window, but it seems at least his immediate future will be at Chelsea FC

Although the 28-year-old striker did not see as much game time as he would have hoped, he did score some vital goals in the second half of the season, and is now looking forward to competing with the likes of Costa and Falcao next season.
R my confirms he is going nowhere
There has been speculation about the French international’s future with Chelsea FC, particularly after the signing of a big name like Radamel Falcao, and both West Ham and Crystal Palace – having already made ambitious signings this summer – were keen to add the former Newcastle striker to their squad.
R my has put an end to all such speculation however, by declaring his intention to stay at Stamford Bridge and fight for his place in the side by working hard and impressing manager Jos Mourinho.
The Frenchman is quoted by England’s Mail Online as saying: “I never wanted to leave this club because I feel really good. Of course I want to play more but I’m sure I can play more here.
“That’s my target and I just try to make it happen by working hard and showing everybody and the manager that he can count on me. For me, my mind is here and I don’t want to leave at the minute.”

“For so many reasons I want to stay a because we won two titles and I’m sure we’re going to win more titles this season, so for me it is really exciting.
“I want to be a part of this project and there is no reason for me to leave now. I know that his season there are a lot of games and I will have my chance and now I have to be ready to be not injured and to be ready at the good time.”
Striker’s versatility important for Chelsea FC
The striker’s comments will be music to the ears of the Blues’ faithful, who know how just how important a quality back-up striker is, given Diego Costa’s injury and disciplinary issues. The Frenchman’s goals-per-game ratio lasts season was higher even than Costa’s, and his goals during the second half of the campaign helped ensure that Chelsea FC won the title at a canter.
Mourinho will be delighted with R my’s decision particularly because of the Frenchman’s versatility. The 28-year-old has the ability to play on the right wing, and has shown an impressive willingness to contribute defensively when playing in that position – evident particularly in the Blues’ post-season game against Sydney FC in June.
