Aguero Happy At City Amidst Real Madrid Speculations

Real Madrid transfer target Sergio Aguero has once again dismissed speculations of his exit from Manchester City this summer and believes he can achieve all he wants at the club.

The 27-year-old finished last season as the top scorer in the Premier League, although Manchester City failed to defend their crown. The English club also suffered another early exit from the Champions League, but the Argentine international believes that the club and excel in Europe next season, along with winning back the League title. Aguero, who has already scored 107 goals for Manchester City, has however been linked with a move away from the Etihad stadium with Real Madrid reportedly eyeing a move for him.

The Spanish club, like Manchester City, endured a trophy-less season last time around and are looking to add more firepower to their ranks. The former Atletico Madrid striker has however dismissed these rumours and insisted that he can achieve everything he desires with Man City.

“The only reason a player should leave a club is to achieve things, and I can achieve all I want to at City.

“I can’t stop rumours. I can’t stop people writing things. But what I can do is repeat what I have already said, and that is that I’m very happy at Manchester City.

“I have had success over the last four seasons there and I’m hungry for a lot more. Of course the Premier League is a big priority and we want to win it back, but it is a big dream to win the Champions League at City as well.” a Aguero said in response to these reports.

The Argentine, who is currently participating in the Copa America, expects his club to sign some big name players this summer, and added that he would love to see fellow countryman Lionel Messi at the Etihad Stadium.

.

“Each summer, City will add some of the best players in the world to the team. That is the way of the clubs who want to win titles. I’m sure that this summer will be the same.

“I would have loved City to sign Leo [Messi]. He is my good friend and the best in the world, but his loyalty is so firm to Barcelona and you have to respect that.” a He added.
