AC Milan currently sit on the sixth spot on the Serie A table and fans have been asking for big name signings by the Italian club, but their Chief Executive has told them to relax.
Adriano Galliani, Chief Executive of AC Milan, has asked the fans to calm down with their demands for signing new players and thinks they already have enough talent in their squad.
“Perhaps some of those who haven’t had as much playing time will move on, as there is a big squad,” Galliani said after the club’s 4-2 win against relegation candidates Frosinone Calcio, according to espnfc.com.
“I just want to remind everyone that we were barely able to use Mario Balotelli and Jeremy Menez due to injury. The fans can relax, we have many star names in attack and midfield, plus Gigio Donnarumma in goal. I continue to believe this team is worth more than sixth place.
“There are some regrets that we’re not higher up. I think the Coppa Italia win at Sampdoria midweek was a turning point. If we hadn’t gone through there, it would’ve been difficult to win today.”

While some of the big names that Galliani mentions are a bit suspect, considering that Donnarumma is only 16 years old and Mario Balotelli has been shunted out from Liverpool after moving their from AC Milan. They do have former PSG attacker Jeremy Menez and 28-year-old Colombian striker Carlos Bacca, who was brought to the San Siro this summer, to fire up their attack.
AC Milan have also recently resigned German born Ghanian midfielder Kevin-Prince Boateng, who was a free agent after being dismissed from Bundesliga club Schalke 04, who will add some experience and depth to the squad.
