Monaco Demands ai??i??35m For Arsenal And AC Milan Target Kondogbia

French club Monaco has refused to set down from their demand of a 35m for French midfielder Geoffrey Kondogbia as Arsenal FC and AC Milan step up their interest.

Geoffrey Kondogbiaa s future at Monaco has been in doubts this summer with a host of clubs across Europe gunning for his signature. The defensive midfieldera s reputation has grown by leaps and bounds since he joined the French club from Seville in 2013, and now Monaco could sell him for a massive profit.

AC Milan, who are desperate to strengthen their squad this summer, have already made their move to sign the Frenchman. Adriano Galliani has travelled to France to hold talks with Monaco for the midfielder and according to reports in Italy, they have already submitted a bid of a 25m plus bonus. But Monaco are unwilling to consider any bid below a 35m for Kondogbia, as they are aware of interest from various other clubs.

Milan face competition from cross town rivals Inter, who have lined up the French international as a possible replacement for Mateo Kovacic, who could be leave San Siro this summer. Nerazzurri sporting director Piero Ausilio has also held talks with Monaco, which according to Gianluca Di Marzio, have been unsuccessful. Real Madrid, Barcelona, Juventus, Manchester City and Arsenal are also closely monitoring his situation.

Juventus, who could lose both Paul Pogba and Arturo Vidal this summer, sees Kondogbia as a possible replacement at the center of the park. While, Real Madrid and Barcelona, both of whom have been linked with Pogba, could make a move for Kondogbia if they fail to sign the Juventus midfielder.

Arsenal, who are in the market for defensive midfielder, have been linked with both Morgan Schneiderlin and Geoffrey Kondogbia. Arsene Wenger is keen to bolster his midfield defensively with Francis Coquelin being the only real option in that department. With Schneiderlin believed to be close to securing a move to Manchester United, the London based club have shifted their focus on the Monaco midfielder.

According to Sky Italia, Arsene Wenger has already held talks . with 22-year-old Frenchman and are expected to submit a bid. His arrival will be a huge boost for the Gunners, who are keen to finally mount a sustained title challenge next season. But French football expert Matt Spiro believes, Kondogbia is more likely to end up in Serie A, than at the Emirates.
