Liverpool target Keita Balde is reportedly unhappy with the present situation in Lazio and will be looking for a solution this January transfer window if the status quo persists.
The 19-year-old Spaniard has not started under new Lazio manager Stefano Pioli since the win over Cesena in match week 2 this season and Keitaai??i??s agent has warned that the player may consider his future in January.
Lazio reportedly rejected bids from Liverpool and Juventus for Keita this summer and the player himself extended his stay in Rome until 2018. However, it seems that Keita is not a part of Pioliai??i??s tactical setup at this moment. The Italian likes to play with two wingers who prefer to cut inside from the wings while Keita is essentially a player who is comfortable to take on his man and head for the by-line. So far Brazilian youngster Felipe Anderson has been preferred ahead of Keita and the situation has his agent stirring the pot already.
“Weai??i??re in a period of reflection, weai??i??re trying to understand the motivation behind his exclusion,” his agent Ulisse Savini told reporters.
“When heai??i??s on the pitch, he always gives 100 per cent, but itai??i??s clear that heai??i??s not first choice. In the past few games they [Lazio] have rotated everyone except for Keita.”

The former La Masia product scored five goals in 16 games for the Biancoceleste last season and reports indicate that he is under the watchful eyes of Liverpool. He might be a potential replacement for Suso, another Spaniard in the Liverpool squad, who is closing in on a move to Italian giants AC Milan. Keitaai??i??s agent has refused to intervene so far but feels that this situation cannot continue for long.
“Iai??i??ve not spoken to the club – the process should take its correct course. Our aim is to have a great season with Lazio and to understand what the plans for the future are,” said his agent.
“But if come December and weai??i??re still in the same situation and there are better offers, then weai??i??ll have to consider them, whilst sharing our thoughts with Lazio.”
“Heai??i??s not saying that he should be a starter rather that he has quality that warrants more playing time.”
It is believed that Keita will be looking to earn his place in Pioli’s side but if a chance is not forthcoming then he might look to move elsewhere.
