Italian giants AC Milan are planning to unleash 15-year-old Wonderkid Hachim Mostouragainst Sassuolo to reignite their Serie A campaign.
AC Milan had a disappointing 2013-14 season with just 54 points from 37 outings so far and are currently placed at the 8th spot in Serie A Campaign. Milan’s Champions League performance was comparatively better as they reached the round of 16 stage before bowing out to the power packed La Liga leaders Atletico Madrid. But Europe is a distant dream for Rossineri next season as they approach the last match day and are in dire need of some motivation for the next campaign.
A win or lose against Sassuolo won’t make much difference for AC Milan in Serie A, as their fate is sealed with a mid table finish outside European places. Clarence Seedorf couldn’t weave his magic after replacing Massimo Allegri as the Milan Manager and the club is looking for a saviour. Rossineri roster bosted the likes of Ruud Gullit, Marco Van Basten, Frank Rijkard etc are currently looking for a leader on the pitch but the likes of Kaka, Robinho and Adel Taraabt are failing to light Serie A with their football skills.
Milan giants have unveiled youngsters in the past to draw some inspiration and to provide some hope for the fans. While some of the wonderkids failed to live upto the expectation some others have flourished when given the opportunity. Such a youngster is set to make his debut for AC Milan against Sassuolo, 15-year-old Milan wonderkid Hachim Mastour. If he makes his debut on Sunday, he will write his name on the record books as the youngest ever AC Milan player in Serie A.
Hachim Mastour was a costly purchase for AC Milan after identifying his potential. AC Milan paid around ai??i??500,000 to Reggiana for the youngster as Barcelona, Real Madrid and Manchester City were looking for his signature in 2012.
Hachim Mastour’s coach in Allievi, Omar Donesi was full of praise for the youngster:
“It is impossible to take the ball from Hachim [Mastour]. He can run at breakneck speed. He has grown so much this year, especially in his work with the rest of the team. He is very young and there is a lot of scope for improvement. For the talent he has, he is definitely a player to play at the San Siro [for AC Milan]. But he is very young and should be allowed to grow with calmness.”
It’s nearly two years since Hachim Mastour made the move and the Milan faithful thinks that he is ready for the big test. Hachim Mastour was promoted to first team with huge fanfare. Milan wonderkid had breakfast with AC Milan Chief Executive Adriano Galliani and manager Clarence Seedorf. Italian youngster was applauded by the entire first team squad when he entered the changing room and his charisma graced the training session as well.
