Manchester United are in the market for long term successor of David Moyes, and reports coming out from Spain claim that Real Madrid boss Carlo Ancelotti has rejected the chance to join the Old Trafford club next season.
Spanish daily El Confidencial has run a front page story today, claiming that the Italian coach has been the object of desire of several European clubs of first level, but above all has been the primary target of Manchester United. Last week, emissaries of the English club made ai??i??ai??i??an offer that would have made him the highest paid coach in the world: over 17 million euros per season. However, the answer of Carlo Ancelotti was clear: “Sorry, I’m happy in Madrid.”
It is reported that the former AC Milan, Chelsea and PSG boss has no other agenda in front of him except his ongoing project with Real Madrid. Ancelotti is convinced about the bright future of this squad and reportedly replied without fear of potential criticism to the delegates of United that: “[Real Madrid] is the best team in the world.”
Ancelotti is currently busy in preparing his team for the final of the UEFA Champions League ai??i?? the trophy which is craved by Real President Florentino Perez and which they have not won since 2002.
