Chelsea Striker Samuel Etoai??i??o Hints At A Move To Mallorca Next Season

Chelsea FC striker Samuel Etoai??i??o has hinted that he could possibly end his career at his former club Mallorca.

Samuel Etoai??i??o recently grabbed the headlines as he produced his best performancesince signing for the London club this summer as he scored a memorable hat-trick against Manchester United and put them to the sword. That hat-trick took Etoai??i??o tally of goals to six in eight starts so far this season and he would only hope to improve from here. All of Chelseaai??i??s strikers have struggled to produce goals this season and Etoai??i??o turn in form could prove to be a vital boost in their bid to challenge for the title.

The 32-year-old though, who has won nearly everything there is to win in club football, is certainly approaching the end of his long and legendary career. His current contract with Chelsea will expire at the end of this season and it looks unlikely that he will extend his stay at Stamford Bridge beyond this season. Etoai??i??o was mostly signed as a short term solution by Jose Mourinho, as he failed to sign any of the big name strikers he had aimed for at the start of the summer.

But Etoai??i??o wonai??i??t be short on offers and a lot of European clubs will be looking to use his experience in the squad and sign him for free next summer. But the former Barcelona star has now hinted at a possible move to his former club Mallorca. Etoai??i??o insists that there is a possibility that he could end his career at the where he rose to prominence during his four year stay at Iberostar.

“My son has pressured me to finish (my career) there. My son is from Mallorca.

“I’ll always like Barca, but I prefer Mallorca.” ai??i?? The Chelsea striker said in an interview.

Etoai??i??o also stressed on how he misses Spain, his friends, the food and the life style.

“I miss everything from there.

“I miss my team-mates, my friends, Barcelona, the weather, the ham, everything.

“At the moment, it’s one season [at Chelsea] and I intend to enjoy it, then we’ll see.” ai??i?? Etoai??i??o added.

Mallorca were relegated from La Liga last season and are currently eight in the points table of Segunda division. They do have a good chance of being in the promotion play-off and could very well do with the quality of someone like Etoai??i??o in their side.
