20-year-old Brazilian wonder kid Anderson Talisca has caught the eye of the several top Premier League clubs, as he enjoys a great start to things with Portuguese giants Benfica.
The attacker moved to Lisbon this summer from Brazilian club BahiaAi??for a ai??i??4 million fee, the highest paid for a Bahia player.
Reports on several occasions in the past few weeks suggestAi??thatAi??Brendan Rodgers and Arsene Wenger have both watched the Brazilian in action on multiple occasions. Jose Mourinho has also hailed the player in the past and said that he was well known to Europe before his summer move to Benfica.

Talisca operates as an attacking midfielder, a typical number 10, but has the capability to play in the more advanced position as a striker. The 20 year old has eight goals in 10 games in the league for Benfica, an absolutely staggering ratio.Ai??Last week he was called up by Brazil boss Dunga, to replace Lucas Moura, for the two friendlies against Turkey and Austria. Nicknamed ‘Yaya Talisca’, for an apparent resemblance in style to Yaya Toure, the player’s style of play is more similar to Neymar than Toure. If he carries on his current form, Talisca might become a bigger name than Neymar in the future.
It comes as no surprise that all the top premier League clubs have been linked with this sensation.
However the Brazil under-23Ai??internationalAi??has ruled out a switch, saying his mind is only on Benfica.
He told Portuguese paper O’Jogo: “I am thinking only of Benfica.
“I’m ready, I know I have and am able to learn much from this wonderful group, with supporters and with theAi??coach.”
A move to England is unlikely for now as Benfica won’t let the player go just six months after his arrival. Moreover, the Brazilian himself seems keen to stay in Portugal and perhaps this would be the best move for him as he can develop his game at a great club, instead of rushing things and remaining a raw talent for one of the interested clubs.
