Ashley Cole confirmed the news of his departure from Chelsea The left back published the news on Twitter by saying bid adieu to the Chelsea fans.
Cole, who announced his retirement from International football after being dropped out from the England World cup squad, was also out of contract at Chelsea. He broke his silence about his Future at Chelsea by tweeting ‘ IAi??am weighing up my options for playing next season with my agent and sadly it does not look like Chelsea will be one of them.’ He also erased ‘England and Chelsea left-back’ from his twitter biography.
He posted a series of tweets about his departure, his journey at Chelsea, support and love showered Ai??upon him by Chelsea fans.

Cole faced a rather pale 2013-14 season. Where he started in only 15 Premier League games, being sidelined for most of the season, under the flagship of returning coach Jose Mourinho.
John Hartson of the BBC radio applauded his decision by saying Ai??”I thought the way Ashley dealt with being left out of the set-up for the World Cup was admirable, very professional. He’s got a lot to offer. They’ll be several clubs thinking that he can still do a job for them and I think he can. He’s still a top player so I would imagine that there will be several clubs looking at his situation.”
