AC Milan are ready to sacrifice defender De Sciglio to purchase Torino winger Alessio Cerci
Italian Giants AC Milan have restarted their hunt to purchase Torino winger Alessio Cerci. The Rossoneri are looking to strengthen their midfield and Cerci will fit perfectly in Milan’s 4-3-3 combination.
According to la Gazzetta dello Sport, the club owner Silvio Berlusconi. vice president Adriano Galliani and coach Filippo Inzaghi held a meeting recently to discuss tranfer negotiations and they have Cerci on top of their priority list.
Though the Milan management are quite eager to acquire Cerci, the two clubs have not been able to come to an agreement regarding his transfer price. Torino are asking for 20 million euros for Cerci’s transfer while Milan believe that the price tagged for the winger is too steep.
The Rossoneri are looking to negotiate with Ai??Torino management to reduce the price for Cerci’s transfer, who still has 2 years left on his contract. But as the transfer season is approaching towards its end part and Torino maintaining a stubborn approach about the transfer price, Milan seem to be ready to spend the desired amount for his transfer.
The Rossoneri management are ready to sell their young defender Mattia De Sciglio in order to accumulate the amount needed for Cerci’s transfer. The 21 year old defender has been praised as one of Europe’s top emerging defender and de Sciglio has been on Real Madrid’s radar this summer.
Alessio Cerci has been a star performer for Torino, the 27 year old winger scored 13 goals in 36 games for Torino last season. His inclusion in the AC Milan squad will enhance the team’s game-play from wide areas, as he can be extremely lethal with his quick speed and dribbling skills from the wing side.
AC Milan are also looking to rope in QPR forward Adel Taarabt for a transfer fee of 3 million euros. Shakhtar Donetsk’s Douglus Costa and Napoli’s Goran Pandev are also on their wish list.

AC Milan have relaunched their bid to acquire QPR striker Adel Taarabt. The Milan management has agreed to pay 3 million Euros for the Morrocan internationals transfer.
QPR manager Harry Redknapp also believes that Taarabt is not very keen to stay with his current club and the club is also looking to sell the player off so they can purchase some new players ahead of the new season.
Redknapp said “I don’t know what’s happening with Adel. He hasn’t done a day’s training since we’ve been back. He’s miles away from being fit to play at the moment.”
“I think he’s fit to train this week, but I think wants to move. But if he doesn’t want to be here then someone’s got to pay the money. He’s not going to go cheap.”
