Chelsea FC defender David Luiz is a transfer target for cash-rich French club PSG.
David Luiz has improved a lot as a footballer over the past six months ai??i?? specially under interim manager Rafa Benitez ai??i?? when perhaps for the first time he showed some consistency along with his undoubted talent. But Mourinho is unsure about his place in the team. The Portuguese manager has always built his team around strong defences and there are a lot of questions marks on Luizai??i??s defensive abilities ai??i?? despite his improvement. The Brazilian was initially linked with Barcelona, who see him as an option if they fail to land their primary target Thiago Silva this summer. But now it seems PSG are ready to step in with a bid for the 26-year-old defender and pair him with his compatriot Thiago Silva at the back. The French side are willing to pay A?25million, who was brought for the same fee from Benfica two years back.
PSG have a predicament of their own as Thiago Silva is also unsure about his future at the club. The 28-year-old has recently said that he will consult Zlatan Ibrahimovic before committing his future to the club.
