According to reports in Germany suggest that Manchester City striker Edin Dzeko is on his way back to the Bundesliga with Borussia Dortmund.
Two weeks back the 26-year-old stated his love for the German league in an interview and talked about his admiration for Borussia Dortmund. Although he did dismiss claims that he has held talks withAi??JA?rgen Klopp regarding a move, his statement fueled speculations regarding his future at the Manchester club.
“I love the Bundesliga and I will return to the Bundesliga. The only thing I don’t know is when.
“That’s [Rumours about him agreeing a move to Dortmund] not true. There is a lot of talk and a lot is written. If you believed every word, I’d be playing at FC Bayern or AC Milan by now.

But recent reports from Germany claim that Manchester City officials have already met with the representatives of the German club during their match against QPR last month. Those reports also suggest that a deal has been agreed between the two clubs over the sale of the striker for transfer fee believed to be around A?20million.

Edin Dzeko is seen as a direct replacement for Robert Lewandowski, who has been linked with a move to Bayern Munich and is expected to leave in the summer. Dzeko made a name for himself in Germany during his stint at Wolfsburg before joining City. The striker will look for a fresh start to his career as he strives to get more first team football at this stage of his career.
But Dortmund general manager, Hans-Joachim Watzke, has rubbished these claims and said that the club will look to promote youth instead of buying big names in the transfer market.
