Chelsea, Liverpool, Manchester City ready to pay €100 million to sign Michael Olise

Chelsea, Liverpool, and Manchester City are reportedly willing to pay €100 million to sign 23-year-old French international Michael Olise from Bayern Munich.

According to a report by Sport BILD, as relayed by Sport Witness, Michael Olise is the subject of interest from Liverpool. The Reds are considering the Bayern Munich attacker as a long-term replacement for Mohamed Salah, and they are ready to pay €100 million to sign the French international. The report has also echoed those sentiments for Chelsea and Manchester City, with the two Premier League bigwigs willing to break the bank to secure his services.

Michael Olise and his rise at Bayern Munich

Michael Olise has established himself as one of the best players in the Bundesliga since joining Bayern Munich from Crystal Palace in a deal worth €60 million last year. The London-born winger spent his formative years in England and graduated from the youth division at Reading FC. However, the 23-year-old rose in prominence during his spell with Crystal Palace.

The French international has made considerable progress in the last 15 months, and he has been hot off the blocks in the 2025/26 campaign. Olise has amassed five goals and six assists in only nine appearances thus far in the new season. Meanwhile, the youngster’s progress has not gone unnoticed, with Chelsea, Liverpool, and Manchester City among the prospective suitors vying for his signature.

A man in demand

Chelsea can do with a productive attacker in the final third, even though they signed two wingers in the summer transfer window. However, Alejandro Garnacho and Jamie Gittens are not productive enough to be long-term assets for Chelsea. So, Olise is a viable target for the West London club, and they have pursued his signature for a long time.

Meanwhile, Liverpool’s interest in Michael Olise is understandable. The Reds are in a spot of bother over Mohamed Salah’s long-term future. So, they have set their sights on the Bayern Munich attacker, and his qualities make him an ideal long-term replacement for Salah.

As for Manchester City, Pep Guardiola is a long-term admirer of the London-born attacker. While Savinho may commit his long-term future to the Premier League club soon, Olise can be an upgrade on the Brazilian international. Meanwhile, Manchester City, Chelsea, and Liverpool are ready to pay €100 million to secure his services.

Widespread reports have suggested that Bayern Munich will demand a nine-figure fee to part ways with Olise. It will be interesting to see if a bid worth €100 million convinces Bayern Munich to sell the 23-year-old French international to Chelsea, Liverpool, or Manchester City.
