Brahim Diaz is not interested in leaving Real Madrid amid widespread reports linking him with Premier League club Chelsea.

According to a report by Spanish outlet Defensa Central, Brahim Diaz has made a decision on his future amid speculation surrounding him. The 24-year-old playmaker is the subject of interest from Chelsea. But the former Manchester City midfielder is not interested in leaving Real Madrid anytime soon.

Brahim Diaz and his happy Real Madrid return

Brahim Diaz has enjoyed a memorable 2023/24 campaign since returning to Real Madrid from his loan spell with AC Milan. The Malaga native spent the last three seasons on loan at San Siro, with the Serie A giants helping Real Madrid in grooming the player and achieving his potential.

The 24-year-old endured a frustrating start to the 2023/24 season as he was a bit-part player for Carlo Ancelotti. However, injuries and suspensions have helped his cause, helping him secure regular game time for Real Madrid. Diaz has contributed to 14 goals in 34 appearances across all competitions, finding the back of the net nine times while providing five assists.

While Diaz has enjoyed an excellent campaign thus far, speculation surrounding his future has mounted through the season. Recent reports have heavily linked him with many Premier League bigwigs, with Chelsea among his prospective suitors heading into the summer transfer window.

Chelsea interested in Diaz

Chelsea’s interest in Brahim Diaz is understandable. With Conor Gallagher facing an uncertain future at Stamford Bridge, the West London club can do with a new playmaker. The 24-year-old Real Madrid midfielder has thus emerged as a viable target for Chelsea. However, the latest update comes as a blow for the Premier League heavyweights.

Diaz is not interested in leaving Real Madrid anytime soon as he is happy with his role under Carlo Ancelotti. The Merengues do not want to part ways with the Moroccan international either, even though they have slapped an asking price of €60 million on him.

So, Chelsea will have to look elsewhere for a productive playmaker heading into the summer transfer window. The 24-year-old Real Madrid playmaker is happy at the Santiago Bernabeu and will not leave anytime soon.
