Los Blancos will only part ways with the 24-year-old if he demands to leave in the summer transfer window. In that scenario, Real Madrid will demand around €60 million to part ways with him amid interest from several clubs.
Brahim Diaz and a happy return to Madrid
Brahim Diaz has enjoyed an excellent 2023/24 campaign since returning to Real Madrid from his long loan spell with AC Milan. The Moroccan international joined Real Madrid in January 2019 after a stint with Manchester City. However, he has had to wait until this season to establish a foothold in the first-team squad at the Santiago Bernabeu.
The 24-year-old had spent the last three years on loan at AC Milan, with the stint doing him a world of good to blossom into a top-class playmaker. While Diaz has not been an undisputed first-choice attacker for Real Madrid this season, he has done well whenever he has received an opportunity to make his mark, contributing to 14 goals thus far.
The former Manchester City playmaker has found the back of the net nine times while providing five assists in 34 appearances across all competitions thus far this term.
