Real Madrid are not planning on selling Brahim Diaz to Arsenal or anyone else, as Florentino Perez considers him part of the future.

According to Defensa Central, Real Madrid have no interest in entertaining any offers for Brahim Diaz. The 24-year-old attacking midfielder has had several links over a return to the Premier League, including Arsenal, although Florentino Perez views him as a big part of the club’s future.

Real Madrid not selling Brahim Diaz

Real Madrid surprised a few when they decided to keep Brahim Diaz instead of cashing in on the attacking midfielder. The 24-year-old was coming at the back of two successful loan spells at AC Milan as Florentino Perez decided to keep him at the Santiago Bernabeu.

While Diaz has not been a nailed-down starter for Real Madrid, barely even starting half of their league games, he has provided 13 goal contributions this season. The numbers support Perez’s view of keeping the 24-year-old beyond the summer, as the Real Madrid supremo has no plans to entertain any offers.

Diaz has become part of Perez’s plans to build a youthful side at Real Madrid, as some of their recent signings like Eduardo Camavinga and Jude Bellingham signify. Hence, the Real Madrid president will not listen to any offers that come his way for Diaz as he sees the attacking midfielder as a big part of the future.

Arsenal suffer Brahim Diaz blow

Mikel Arteta was spotted in Madrid when he apparently came here to attend the youth derby between Real Madrid and Atletico Madrid. There have been suggestions that the Arsenal boss was interested in watching some other Real Madrid players like Arda Guler and Nico Paz, along with considering others.

Arsenal were linked with Diaz recently, with suggestions that they were ready to pay around €70 million for the 24-year-old 13 goal contributions this season. However, with Perez uninterested in any sale, the idea may die down in the background, as the Gunners will consider this call a blow to their plans for next summer.

Perez has been clear about Diaz for some time now, as he reportedly felt hesitant to let the midfielder leave in January amid Newcastle United’s interest. Overall, the future for the 24-year-old appears at the Santiago Bernabeu for now, although things could always take a drastic twist in the summer window.
