Jorge Mendes has reportedly offered Manchester City midfielder Bernardo Silva to Real Madrid amid his links with Barcelona.
According to a report by Spanish outlet Don Diario, Bernardo Silva is the subject of interest from Barcelona. The reigning La Liga champions are in talks with the player’s representatives over a possible move in the summer transfer window. But Jorge Mendes has offered the Manchester City playmaker to Real Madrid in a deal worth €58 million.

Bernardo Silva has been among the best players in the Premier League since joining Manchester City from AS Monaco in July 2017. The Portuguese international has been a trusted lieutenant for Pep Guardiola, who has used the player as his go-to man in big games due to his technical prowess and ball control.
There have been times when the 29-year-old has not been a first-choice option for Guardiola. However, a departure from the Etihad has never materialised despite flirting with an exit many times. Silva has turned out nearly 350 times thus far for Manchester City, chipping in with 64 goals and 64 assists.
The former AS Monaco playmaker has won every trophy with Manchester City, including the treble last season. However, he has been keen on embarking on a new adventure for several years. This summer’s transfer window might offer him the opportunity, with Barcelona keen on signing him. Meanwhile, Jorge Mendes has offered the player to Real Madrid.

Barcelona considered signing Bernardo Silva from Manchester City last summer. But a move did not materialise, with the Blaugrana not having the financial stability to afford a move for the 29-year-old. Meanwhile, Silva still thinks about joining Barcelona, having previously flirted with the Catalan club.
As for Real Madrid, Los Blancos can potentially have a spot for the Manchester City playmaker in the midfield and offensive units. So, with Mendes offering them the chance to sign the Portuguese international for €58 million, a deal might see the light of day.
Meanwhile, Barcelona and Real Madrid might face stiff competition for Silva from Paris Saint-Germain. Recent reports have pointed to a possible offer of a part-exchange deal from PSG. So, the 29-year-old Manchester City midfielder might finally embark on a new adventure this summer.
