Manchester United are reportedly ready to cough up €50 million to sign 26-year-old Italian international Federico Chiesa.
According to a report by Spanish outlet Fichajes, Federico Chiesa is the subject of interest from Manchester United. The Red Devils are in the market for a right-sided attacker heading into the summer transfer window. And they are willing to pay €50 million to sign the Italian international from Juventus.
The Rise and Rise of Federico Chiesa
Federico Chiesa is the son of former Italian striker Enrico Chiesa and is a graduate of Fiorentina’s youth division. The 26-year-old rose in prominence during his stint with La Viola and broke into his national team during that period. It also helped him earn an initial loan move to Juventus in October 2020.
The Bianconeri completed a permanent transfer in July 2022 after a two-year loan spell. Since then, the Italian international has come leaps and bounds, overcoming a long injury problem to become a pivotal figure for Juventus. And Chiesa has enjoyed a solid 2023/24 campaign, chipping in with six goals and two assists in 20 appearances thus far.
The 44-cap Italian international’s progress has not gone unnoticed, capturing the attention of several high-profile clubs, particularly in the Premier League. Many Premier League bigwigs have shown interest in Federico Chiesa, with Manchester United keen on signing him.

Manchester United’s interest in Chiesa is understandable. They have spent heavily to sign Antony and Jadon Sancho. But both attackers have flattered to deceive, with Manchester United inarguably wasting money on them.
