Arsenal, Liverpool, Newcastle United, and Tottenham are reportedly intensifying their efforts to sign Federico Chiesa.

According to a report by Italian outlet  Tutto Juve, Arsenal, Liverpool, Newcastle United, and Tottenham Hotspur are interested in Federico Chiesa. The four Premier League clubs are “moving heavily” to sign the Italian international. Meanwhile, Juventus will demand around €80 million to part ways with the in-demand attacker.

The Rise of Federico Chiesa

Federico Chiesa has established himself as one of the best attackers in Serie A in the last few years. The son of the famous Enrico Chiesa, the 26-year-old is a graduate of Fiorentina’s youth division. While he rose to prominence at his former club, his stock has skyrocketed since joining Juventus.

The Bianconeri initially signed him on loan in October 2020 before completing a permanent deal two years later. While Chiesa has had a bumpy ride at the Allianz Stadium, he has resurrected his fortunes to become a pivotal figure this season. Meanwhile, the Italian attacker’s progress has not gone unnoticed, capturing the attention of Arsenal, Liverpool, Newcastle United, and Tottenham Hotspur.

Premier League Calling?

Arsenal’s interest in Chiesa stems from the need for more competition for Gabriel Martinelli and Bukayo Saka’s spots. The Italian international has thus emerged as a viable target. As for Liverpool, the Reds are scouring the market for a wide attacker to replace Mohamed Salah next year.

The Liverpool talisman might depart from Anfield amid heavy interest from the Saudi Pro League. So, Chiesa is an option to replace Salah at the Merseyside club. Meanwhile, Newcastle United will look for an upgrade on Miguel Almiron next year, bringing Federico Chiesa into the picture.

As for Tottenham, the North London club signed two attackers this past summer. But Richarlison faces an uncertain future at the Tottenham Hotspur Stadium. So, it behoves the club to pursue an attacker. Meanwhile, Juventus will demand a whopping €80 million to part ways with the Italian international.

The report has suggested that Arsenal, Liverpool, Newcastle United, and Tottenham are stepping up their efforts to sign Federico Chiesa by “moving heavily” for him. But it will be interesting to see if any of his suitors will pay €80 million to land him next year.
