Manchester City have signed Finley Gorman from Leeds United after the 15-year-old passed his medical examination.
According to Fabrizio Romano, Finley Gorman has penned a long-term contract with Manchester City after joining from Leeds United. The 15-year-old English midfield sensation would have cost the club a record fee for a player in his age group.

Over the last few months, many reports have increasingly indicated Manchester City wer the favourite to land Finley Gorman. When they evaluated his profile, the 15-year-old English midfield sensation became part of the Premier League club’s plans and probably watched him in action.
Gorman has made a name in the youth teams of Leeds United, with an earlier report stating Manchester City were about to pay a record £1.2 million fee. No club has spent so much for a player in that age category in Britain.
Gorman had Manchester United’s interest, and they could be one of the three clubs Fabrizio Romano mentioned had made bids. Manchester City has shown through their youth plans they are the best-placed team for emerging talent to flourish.
The 15-year-old English midfield sensation has reportedly passed his medicals and signed a long-term deal with Manchester City. He could soon become a part of their youth system and start climbing through the ranks to get recognised for first-team football in the coming years.
As per Fabrizio Romano, Manchester City has sealed the deal for the 15-year-old and, as per previous reports, might have paid that record fee for a player in his age category.

With the signing of Gorman, Manchester City have brought in one of the brightest talents in England. They are about to continue here as the club has already set the wheels in motion for at least two other deals for young stars from different parts of the world.
Partizan Belgrade talent Matija Popovic remains close to signing for Manchester City. The Serbian has been excellent, and the Premier League side have identified him as the right fit for their youth side. They could soon finalise a move for the 17-year-old and bring him to England.
However, the biggest news comes from Argentina, particularly Romano, who confirmed Manchester City are advancing to sign Claudio Echeverri. They could loan him back to River Plate until June, which resembles a similar path taken with Julian Alvarez when his move happened.
Ridiculous. City buys anybody that other clubs might want and then ruins their career. Kalvin Phillips has the most pointless and undeserving collection of medals in history, Imagine getting the medals out to show the Grandchildren and then having to tell them you played in virtually no games. Pep bought him because he didn’t want anybody else to have him and then wasted some of the best years of his life. I’m a City fan but I just don’t think what they do is right. Finlay would have developed better at Leeds for a couple of more years.
