Manchester United are interested in bringing World Cup winner Paulo Dybala to Old Trafford in the summer.

According to Calciomercato, Manchester United are keen on signing Argentine forward Paulo Dybala in the summer of 2023. Erik ten Hag is a fan of the Roma attacker and wants to add him to his ranks. The Red Devils under Ten Hag have looked like a completely different outfit.

They have rediscovered themselves in the ongoing season thanks to their new manager. The Manchester-based club are currently third in the Premier League with 43 points from 23 matches. They are well on course to finish inside the top 4 and return to the Champions League next season.

While United are doing great in the ongoing season, they lack firepower up top, and the Red Devils have heavily relied on Marcus Rashford for the goals. Without him on the pitch, they don’t look threatening enough. Adding Dybala will bring a new dimension to their attack and will surely add to a lot more goals.

Paulo Dybala joined Roma in the summer of 2022 from Juventus for free after his contract expired at the Turin-based club. And, he is already exploring a move elsewhere in search of a better and more ambitious project.

In the ongoing season, Dybala has made 20 appearances for Jose Mourinho’s team. In his 20 matches, the Argentine has found the back of the net on 10 occasions and has assisted a teammate seven times. He has returned to his absolute best and wants to look for bigger opportunities.

While joining Roma from Juventus as a free agent, Dybala’s agent added a relatively low release clause of €12 million to his contract. It was done with the purpose that the forward could look for better opportunities if he managed to regain his mojo.

Dybala is back doing what he did during his initial years at Juventus. His form has attracted a lot of attention from across Europe. Amidst all the interest, Manchester United are desperate to add him to the ranks. Given that he would only cost the Red Devils €12 million it shouldn’t be that big a challenge. Having said that Jose Mourinho will try his best to keep the Argentine at the club.
