Ajax have placed a €45 million price tag on Mohammed Kudus amid interest from Arsenal, Chelsea, and Manchester United.

According to Calciomercato, Arsenal, Chelsea, and Manchester United may have to pay around €45 million to land Mohammed Kudus. The Ghanaian attacking midfielder’s form at the World Cup has alerted many of his suitors, including the Premier League trio.

Mohammed Kudus was one of the standout players from the World Cup group stages. The Ajax attacker not only performed well but also nearly dragged Ghana towards qualifying up until the last group game. Unfortunately, the Black Stars succumbed against Uruguay, as South Korea took the other spot alongside Portugal to qualify for the next round.

Despite the early exit from Qatar, Kudus can reflect on his sturdy performances and return to Ajax full of confidence. The attacking midfielder’s form has attracted plenty of attention from across everywhere. The Premier League, in particular, has many big clubs vying for his signature.

Real Madrid are reportedly considering him as an option in their search for quality reinforcements. However, the most substantial interest comes from the Premier League, where as many as four clubs are keen on signing him.

North London rivals Arsenal and Tottenham are keeping constant tabs on his situation. The Gunners are in the market for a marquee signing and could look to add Kudus, a versatile attacking player. The 22-year-old could also link up with compatriot Thomas Partey while also able to play on the right wing if needed.

While he is not Arsenal’s absolute priority, the idea of the player could appeal to Mikel Arteta. The Gunners are in the market for a new midfielder and winger, as they are linked with key names ahead of the January transfer window.

Ajax are reportedly open to offers for the player they barely considered in their plans earlier in the season. Since then, he has exploded onto the scene and responded with 12 goals and two assists for club and country. The Dutch giants are reportedly willing to let him leave if an offer of over €45 million arrives.

The fee could be a snip for Manchester United, who are keen. The Red Devils are in the market for players in many positions, and Erik ten Hag can use his pull to attract Kudus towards Old Trafford. The manager knows the player well from working with Ajax, and there could be something in this story.

Meanwhile, the price tag may not deter Chelsea either. The Blues are in the market for many top-level players but are warming up to their policy of recruiting stars of a younger age profile. Kudus fits the mould and could be a brilliant addition alongside top-level names.

Whether Ajax would realistically sell the player in January remains the question. The 22-year-old attacker is rising in stature, and the club could stay relaxed about his situation and watch him improve further. In such a scenario, his value will only appreciate until the summer.
