Bayern Munich have made contact with Richarlison’s agent, joining Manchester United and Real Madrid in the race to sign the Everton forward.

A recent report from Goal Brazil has offered an update on the future of Richarlison. The Everton forward is determined to leave Goodison Park at the end of the season and has already been courted by a host of top clubs across Europe. Real Madrid and Manchester United are among the clubs interested, with Bayern Munich joining the race.

It appears the uncertainty surrounding the future of star striker Robert Lewandowski has made Bayern quite proactive in the market. The Bundesliga giants are desperate to secure the services of a top-quality striker who can soften the blow, should their Polish hitman depart at the end of the season.

The report suggests Bayern Munich have made contact with Richarlison’s agent, exploring the possibility of a summer move to the Allianz Arena. But there has been no official contact with Everton nor the club have made any bid for the player just yet. The same applies the all the other clubs involved in the chase.

Bayern Munich have already shown serious interest in Sadio Mane, even reportedly making contact with the Senegalese international. But attaining the services of the Liverpool star will be difficult, knowing the Reds are set to keep hold of their prized attacker even with his contract expiring at the end of next season.

It has compelled Bayern to target Richarlison, a younger alternative who might not have performed on the same level but certainly has the talent to do so. The Brazilian’s quality has been noted by several other top clubs in Europe including Real Madrid. Carlo Ancelotti has already worked with Richarlison during their time together at Goodison Park. He is said to be keen on a potential reunion at Santiago Bernabeu.

Another potential destination for the Everton man could be Manchester United. The Red Devils are looking for a quality competitor for Marcus Rashford, whose form has nosedived dramatically this season. They have been linked with a move to Richarlison quite frequently over the past year, although new coach Erik ten Hag is likely to target another Brazilian talent in Antony.

It should bode well for both Bayern Munich and Real Madrid, although it remains to be seen whether they are willing to match Everton’s £50 million valuation for the 25-year-old Brazilian international.
