Barcelona will be eyeing a fifth straight win in the new season when they welcome Feyenoord at the Camp Nou. Hansi Flick’s team have been on fire in the initial phase of the season, and they will be hoping to get off to a perfect start in the Champions League.
The home team are top of La Liga with four wins in as many outings. They have been the most dominant force in the Spanish top flight, having scored 17 goals while conceding just two. Barcelona smoked Valencia 5-0, for the third time they bagged five goals in their first four outings.
They completely outplayed Valencia and secured all three points without any difficulty. While Feyenoord might put up a much better fight, the Catalan giants will be confident about starting their UCL campaign with a win.

Eric Garcia picked up a head injury last time out and is now a doubt for this outing alongside Gavi, while Roony Bardghji (ACL), Jesse Bisiwu (thigh), and Frenkie de Jong (knee) remain on the sidelines.
Flick’s team will continue to line up in a 4-2-3-1 formation, where Joan Garcia will be in goal. Jules Kounde and Joao Cancelo could be the full-backs for this one, while Pau Cubarsi partners Andreas Christensen in the heart of the defence.
In the centre of the park, Pedri and Rodri will form the double pivot. The duo will protect the backline and look to control the tempo of the game.

Fermin Lopez
The 23-year-old Spanish international is off to a flying start to the new season with four goals and two assists in his four league outings. After three goal contributions in the first two games, he was used as a substitute against Rayo Vallecano and didn’t really have much of an impact.
However, he was re-introduced in the starting XI against Valencia last time out, and he ended up contributing towards three goals (1 goal, 2 assists). Lopez is high on confidence, and he can certainly prove to be the biggest threat for the away team.

Barcelona head into this fixture in excellent form and will be confident about extending their winning run. Flick’s men have looked dominant in the early stages of the season, particularly in attack, and their ability to control possession should allow them to dictate the game at the Camp Nou.
Feyenoord have made an unbeaten start and have enough attacking quality to cause problems, but containing Barcelona’s wide players and midfielders for 90 minutes will be a major challenge.
The Dutch side could make things difficult if they remain compact and take advantage of their opportunities on the counter.
