Just a week after signing a contract extension at the Santiago Bernabeu, Gareth Bale put in a performance of the highest order against a tame Leganes side to guide Los Blancos to a resounding 3-0 victory.
The Wales captain scored two goals within the span of seven minutes in the first-half to give Real a solid lead going into the half-time break. Bale took over the onus from Ronaldo and was praised for his efforts on social media.
